S.E. Angela Whitehead (Anji), owner of Suryanamaska, who set up Sri Lanka Undiscovered, has connections with Sri Lanka dating back well over 20 years. She has lived in Belgium, France, Spain, Sri Lanka and UK, and travels widely in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia (having also visited other parts of the world). A graduate in Psychology/Cognitive Science and French, she now divides her time between Europe and Sri Lanka.

To find us : Turn off the Colombo-Kandy road after the town of Peradeniya and after crossing the river Mahaveli into the Peradeniya University Campus. Take the Galaha road to the 12th kilometre post, passing the village of Haloya. Then take the first turning on your right and Suryanamska is 300 metres on your right behind a green gate, set in its own grounds.
Suryanamaska has 4 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom with bathrooms, sitting room, library/TV room with extensive collection of novels and books on Sri Lanka , South and East Asia, 2 kitchens, dining-room, balconies, verandahs, gardens.
Self-catering rental : GBP 100 per week for 1-3 people; GBP 150 per week for 4-6 people; GBP 200 for 7-9 people.
Bed & Breakfast : Rs 1200-1500 per person (other meals by arrangement).
